Ivan Veljkovic (aka IvanV; aka AIR) was born on January 27th 1980 in the town of Nis in Serbia. His passion for electronic sound and music started in the late 80's while he was playing video games on consoles and computers of the time. Instead of playing games like the rest of kids his age, Ivan started spending hours listening to electronic sounds from his personal computer.

In 1999 he started his own electronic band named ”South Connection” with whom he had numerous successful live acts in Serbia and other European countries. IvanV left “South Connection” in 2001 to focus on his solo career.

Not long after this, IvanV released the hit track named “Sunrise” in collaboration with BG Productions which reached number 1 on radio charts in Serbia in 2001.Later during 2003 and 2004 IvanV dominated the airwaves along with DJ Spazz on their extremely popular weekly radio show “Mehanika - DJBroadcast”.

Beside his rich studio & production career, IvanV has also played in the most popular Serbian clubs of the time. He had numerous acts in his home town and later started expanding his career by performing in other clubs nationwide with European DJ’s such as Slowhand, Munja, Marko Nastic, Umek .

Having played in many locations, and with electronic music constantly changing shape, IvanV succeeded in creating a genuine ‘IvanV’ sound, easily recognizable by its constant powerful drive and uplifting melodies.

Apart from his mastery on the decks, IvanV is best known for his dynamic showmanship. He enjoys his music as much as his audience does.Embracing their energy, it is not uncommon to find IvanV pumping his hands in the air, jumping up and down and shouting back his love to the crowd.
